How it works

Seven steps.
No surprises.

A renovation involves dozens of people and hundreds of decisions. This is the order we put them in, and what each stage asks of you.

What to bring to the first meeting

  • Your floor plan. Even a photo of the one from HDB or the developer. It changes the conversation from vague to specific immediately.
  • A budget range you are comfortable saying out loud. Not a figure you feel you should say — the real one. It is the single most useful thing you can give a designer.
  • How you actually live. Who cooks, who works from home, whether shoes come off at the door, how much you own. This drives more of the design than any style reference.
  • Images you like — and ones you don’t. What you reject is often more informative than what you save.

Where projects actually slip

Almost never the building. Renovations run late because a decision was still open when the trades needed it — a tile not confirmed, a carpentry change made after the run was measured, an approval submitted a week later than it could have been.

That is why the design and quotation stages are deliberately slower than they need to be. Every decision closed before works begin is a day you do not lose later, and a variation order you never have to sign.

Two things genuinely sit outside anyone’s control: authority approval timelines, and material lead times on anything imported or made to order. We flag both at quotation, so if a stone slab has a six-week lead time you hear it then, not on the week it was meant to be installed.

No surprises.

A renovation involves dozens of people and hundreds of decisions. This is the order we put them in — so you always know what happens next.

  1. 01

    Consultation

A no-obligation conversation about your space, your budget and how you live. Bring your floor plan if you have one — we'll talk through what's realistic.

  2. 02

    Site Understanding

We measure and walk the actual unit: structural walls, ceiling heights, natural light, plumbing runs. Design decisions start from what's really there.

  3. 03

    Space Planning

Layout options on paper first — where walls, storage and circulation should go. The cheapest place to change your mind is at this stage.

  4. 04

    Concept & 3D Design

The chosen layout becomes a full design: 3D visuals of your rooms, materials and finishes selected against samples you can hold.

  5. 05

    Quotation & Timeline

A detailed, itemised quotation and a realistic works schedule — so you know what you're paying for and when each stage happens.

  6. 06

    Renovation Coordination

We sequence and supervise the trades, handle HDB or management approvals, and keep you updated as your renovation progresses on site.

  7. 07

    Handover

A joint walkthrough of the finished space, defects checked and rectified, and your home ready to move into.

Handover is not the end of the relationship. Defects get checked and rectified after you move in and start using the place properly — things you cannot spot in an empty flat. If something is wrong, tell us.
